On August 31st, families gathered for a full evening of music, poetry, and shared traditions honoring the homeland.
The evening opened with the national anthem and a children's choir, followed by poetry, maqom music, and a shared table of national dishes.
Events like this remind us why the association was founded in 2009: to give every family a place to belong.
Community is not something we find. It is something we build, together.
